HOW TO GET RID OF BIRDS
Bird control can be achieved in several different ways. The correct course of action can only be determined by species and area in which they are to be controlled.
Scare tactics such as scarecrows or fake owls are usually inneffective. Exclusion is usualy the only effective method to keep birds out of unwanted areas. Exclusion may be as simple as sealing up an entrance (which is usually the case with birds inside an attic) to to extensive installation of spikes, netting and/or electrical Bird Shock flex tracks.
Bird netting can be as simple as draping a net over bushes or trees that have fruit to protect or as complex as excluding large warehouses. Bird netting is the most effective way to deter birds from roosting overhead in large buildings or canopies.
Bird Spikes can also be installed on ledges and rafters to deter bird roosting. The spikes do not hurt the birds they only deter them from landing when properly installed. Spikes ay be used as a stand alone product or in conjunction with other exclusion products such as netting.
