Approx fifty bats are living in the soffit and attic of this North Kansas City home. They are coming in through a gap where the soffit meats the roof. As soon as the young are able to fly on their own they will be removed.

A bat from St. Joseph has tested positive for the rabies virus.

St. Joseph Animal Control and Rescue submitted the bat for testing at a state lab after it was found in a home on the east side of town.
